The Mindful Psychologist was created as a safe, supportive and compassionate space for people to access Clinical Psychology in a comfortably created environment. Our aim is to support people to create a meaningful and fulfilling life through evidence based practice and a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

MADELEINE
STONE
Madeleine is a warm, compassionate and down-to-earth psychologist. She currently holds memberships with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Madeleine has worked clinically for a number of years across the public, private and non-for-profit sectors.
She has a special interest in working with clients from a holistic, client-centered perspective specialising in anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, trauma, pregnancy and motherhood, perinatal mental health, eating disorders, relationship and family difficulties, grief and bereavement, post-concussive syndrome and mild traumatic brain injuries.
Madeleine’s primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Madeleine believes in a collaborative approach to therapy and strives to support clients to create a fulfilling and meaningful life.

LISA
HUYNH LE
Lisa is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who takes a collaborative and client-led approach, creating a space where individuals feel supported and empowered to make meaningful change. She strongly values evidence-based practice and works closely with clients to set clear goals and track progress, ensuring that therapy leads to real and lasting outcomes.
Lisa enjoys supporting individuals managing depression, anxiety, workplace challenges, adjustment difficulties, PTSD, trauma, and ADHD. She has experience working with both adults and children across private and public settings, including significant experience in hospital environments supporting people living with chronic pain and other complex health conditions.
Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, and Schema-informed approaches—Lisa tailors her work to fit each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
Lisa currently holds registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has completed qualifications in Clinical Psychology through Western Sydney University.
Lisa is currently accepting new clients.
Lisa is available in person and via telehealth on Fridays and via telehealth after hours as available.

SIDRA
HAMEED
Sidra is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who takes a compassionate and client-centered approach, fostering a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for those she works with. She strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to be vulnerable and where they supported in making positive changes. Sidra understands that therapy can be confronting and difficult, and will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Sidra has a particular interest in working with those navigating relationship difficulties, struggles with social comparison, feeling behind in life, and challenges with confidence. She has experience supporting individuals with a range of mental health concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, neurodiversity, adjustment difficulties, women’s health issues, and psychosis. Sidra has worked in diverse settings, including outpatient and inpatient psychiatric hospitals, as well as non-government organizations.
She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities in her practice, including CBT, ACT, DBT and Schema based approaches. Sidra currently holds registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Sidra has qualifications from the University of Sydney, and University of Western Sydney in Clinical Psychology..
Sidra is currently on maternity leave from January 2026.

We are often on the look out for a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar who enjoys working with a wide variety of clients, who values professional development and builds strong therapeutic relationships using evidence based frameworks whilst practicing from a holistic and client centred perspective. TO TALK
The Mindful Psychologist is based in the leafy suburban streets of Paddington, Sydney. The space has been intentionally decorated to ensure that clients feel safe, comfortable and held within the environment. Every time you arrive for your session you will be welcomed with a freshly brewed tea or water, essential oils diffusing and beautiful sunlight streaming into the room.
There is free parking in the surrounding streets, a comfortable waiting area at the front of the space and a private side entrance for ultimate comfort and ease. We believe that therapy is an important part of maintaining wellness and hope our space allows you to take the time to check in and care for yourself.
